This extraordinary offer came via our website:
Hello,
I’m a longtime hobbyist wood carver & turner as well as a disabled combat veteran. About 2 years ago I finally saved enough money to buy a beautiful Laguna Revo 18/36 lathe. Unfortunately, a few months later my injuries worsened and I can’t really use my hands to work the lathe anymore. I hate to see it just sitting gathering dust and I can surely use the cash since I was forced into early retirement.
If someone in the club can use it, I would be happy to give them a deal. I have the receipt if anyone is interested. It has around 12 hours on it, probably less.
I can throw in the Sorby and Easy Wood tools as well as the chucks and collars. The lathe is almost new and in perfect condition. It was a joy to use when my hands were working.
I tried to post on the forum but it appears that is only for paid members and I don’t have $50 to spend on advertising the sale, even though I would love to support the club.
Thank you for your help,
Jason Huskie
