From a friend of Maurice Plourde:

Thank you for looking into finding a home/buyer for my Shopsmith. For me timing could not be worse. We are away and won’t be back until late May 8. I do not have pictures or a complete inventory of the tools with it. It is at my home in Sudbury, in a dry basement that has a flat walk out, helpful for getting it out of the house. It is either an original Shopsmith Model 10e or 10 er. It has not been used since at least 2012, when I moved to Sudbury. It was in running condition then (I used it as a table saw from time to time). But, I believe it could be in great shape with some refurbishment like replacing the belt, polishing and lubrication. I recall I have the manual, 2 saw blades, plywood and hollow ground, one drill bit and a lightly used set of turning chisels. I think most if not all the original parts are still with it.

If someone is interested, they must come and get it; it would take at least 2 strong people. They can easily get in out of the house thru the basement walkout, but can’t roll it since the door opens to the lawn and they have to get it up a slight hill.

This is the classic original Shopsmith and is a well built machine, but it is old and replacement parts may not be easy to find,

Let me know and next steps if any.

    Thank you.
