Matt “The SawWright” Cianci
thesawwright@gmail.com
If you have one or more under-performing Western handsaws in your collection, come for a demonstration by a master sawwright, Matt Cianci. Matt will introduce us to the basics of sharpening and tuning both rip and crosscut saws, with essential information about tooth geometry, tools for sharpening, and common pitfalls.
For those who can stay late, our own Wyatt Mills will convene an in-person TWIG session on the topic. We can't guarantee that we can sharpen or revive every tool that arrives, but if you have a saw that needs TLC, please bring it with you.
As usual, bring along a folding chair. If you want to enjoy some coffee, bring $2.
Remember that Woodcraft opens at 9:00, so plan to arrive close to that time rather than very early.
