In July, the FIG will meet on the 2nd Saturday and will tour the facilities of a small wood supplier in Webster. Paul Canty is a homebuilder, cabinet and furniture maker and also deals in wood. Although he has typical domestic hardwoods, he specializes in the unusual that may peak the interest of furniture-makers. I saw crotch walnut, curly maple with ambrosia striping, curly cherry, wide pine slabs, and more.
